Fill out the CWB testing form for individuals online
Welders must bring a copy of their CWB ticket if they are doing a check test or an upgrade test, and a copy of their test results if they are doing a retest. Please return the form by noon on the Friday before the Wednesday test date.

Cancellations
A cancellation fee of $50.00 is charged to anyone who cancels after the Friday cut-off date. It is payable before you test with our Test Centre.
What to bring
Welders must have proof of all current and expired CWB tickets before testing for upgrades and check tests. You must also have valid ID to show the inspector before testing.
Please make sure all welders arrive at the Test Centre with appropriate clothing and the welding equipment required for testing.
Tickets and results
The Calgary Welder Test Centre for CWB Testing does not issue tickets for successfully passing.
When you take your tests and pass, we will issue you an unofficial letter (if needed) showing your test results. When CWB sends the official results (a valid identification Transfer Card) showing that you tested at the Calgary Welder Test Centre to Ecosse Welding Ltd, we will forward the original ticket to you, showing the positions you passed.
Please note that this ticket is not valid until you have it transferred to a CWB accredited company.
If the welder begins employment with a company certified to CSA Standard W47.1-09, the Canadian Welding Bureau will, upon request from the company, issue a valid identification Transfer Card based on the tests performed. This qualification remains valid until the expiration date shown on the Transfer Card.
