Click here to to Fill Out The CWB Testing For Individuals Online Form Welders must have copy of CWB Ticket with them if they are doing a check test or upgrade test and a copy of Test Results if doing a Restest. Form is requested to be back by Friday Noon prior to the Test Date on the Wednesday.
Our fee for SMAW Test is as follows: The total cost for one (1) position $147.62 plus GST $7.38 = $155.00 The total cost for two (2) positions $271.43 plus GST $13.57 = $285.00 The total cost for three (3) positions $380.95 plus GST $19.05 = $400.00 The total cost for all four (4) positions $476.20 plus GST $23.80 = $500.00 Second Chance - Extra Plate $42.86 plus GST $2.14 = $45.00 - ONLY ON DAY OF TESTING
Our fee for FCAW/MCAW/GMAW Test is as follows:
The total cost for one (1) position $171.43 plus GST $8.57 = $180.00
Cancellation Fees will be charged for anyone canceling after the Friday Cut Off Date. Cancellation fee will be $50.00 and payable prior to you testing with our Test Centre.

WELDERS MUST HAVE PROOF OF ALL CURRENT CWB TICKETS AND EXPIRED TICKETS PRIOR TO TESTING FOR UPGRADES AND CHECK TESTS. YOU MUST ALSO HAVE A VALID ID CARD TO SHOW THE INSPECTOR BEFORE TESTING
The Calgary Welder Test Centre for CWB Testing DOES NOT issue tickets for successfully passing.
When you take the test (s) and have passed successfully, we will issue you an UNOFFICIAL letter (if needed) showing your test results and when CWB sends the OFFICIAL RESULTS (a valid identification Transfer Card) showing that you tested at the Calgary Welder Test Centre to Ecosse Welding Ltd and we will forward the original ticket to you which will show that you have passed the positions that you tested for.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TICKET IS NOT VALID UNTIL YOU HAVE IT TRANSFERRED TO A CWB ACCREDITED COMPANY
If you the welder commences employment with a company certified to CSA Standard W47.1-09, the Canadian Welding Bureau shall, upon request from the company, issue a valid identification Transfer Card based upon the tests performed. Such qualification will remain valid until the expiration date shown on the valid identification Transfer Card.
